FUNKY FORMAL

Think formal attire with personality. This is a night to dress up, have fun with it, and wear the outfit you've been saving for the right occasion. This is that occasion.


Floor length gowns, tailored suits, rich textures, bold colors, unexpected details. Sequins welcome. Velvet suits encouraged. Feathers enthusiastically yes.

Colors we love:
Deep earth tones, burgundy, mauve and dusty rose, rich jewel tones, slate blue, olive, camel, chocolate brown, warm terracotta, emerald, gold, silver and bronze. If it's rich and beautiful and you feel amazing in it , wear it!

A few guidelines:
Please avoid white, ivory, and cream those are reserved for the bride
We'd also love for you to steer away from black if possible this is a colorful celebration and we want the room to feel vibrant and alive
A note on shoes -- our ceremony takes place on a grass lawn and thin stiletto heels and grass are not the best of friends. Block heels, wedges, or flats are highly recommended for the ceremony portion of the evening

We are going with a Funky Formal code think elegant but fun and be ready to dance. Full dress code details and inspiration will be included with your formal invitation. In the meantime, start having fun with it.
